GSK finds Cervarix effective against 5 cancer-causing viruses

Cervical cancer vaccine Cervarix appears to protect against the five most common types of cancer-causing viruses, GlaxoSmithKline reported. The finding suggests Cervarix, which is proven to fight off human papillomavirus, might provide about 11% to 16% more protection against cervical cancer, GSK said.
