How to grow by failing

Companies, like muscles, have to be pushed to failure before they can grow, writes consultant Peter Bregman. Entrepreneurs with a "growth mindset" push themselves further, he argues, because they view failure as a step toward success, while those with a "fixed mindset" view failure as a dead end. "If you have a fixed mindset, you may never fail, but neither do you learn or grow," Bregman writes.
