Marine with autism sits in military jail, awaiting trial

Joshua Fry's military recruiter knew he had autism, according to court documents, but enlisted him in the Marines anyway. Fry, who tried to leave basic training to return to his group home, is awaiting trial on desertion and other charges after more than a year in a military jail. A hearing will be held at the end of the month.
