To break into Chinese markets, America's tech giants will have to learn to play nicely and abide by the Chinese government's rules, says Robin Li, co-founder of Baidu, China's leading search engine. Li, himself a former Valley entrepreneur, said that Western tech companies have a narrow window of opportunity to gain a foothold in China before domestic companies lock down the market. "I think companies like Facebook should think about the Chinese market. If they do it right, if they have a lot of patience, they have a chance," Li said.
