Hospitals to get $352M from HHS to prepare for emergencies

The HHS last week announced the availability of $352 million for the Hospital Preparedness Program to support the readiness of hospitals and health care facilities for disasters. The money will go toward emergency plans, equipment, the hiring of experts, and the training and education of staff.
