Program helps students with special needs, trains teachers

A summer program for students with developmental disabilities is provided in partnership between Auburn University's special-education department and several local schools. Undergraduate and graduate students receive university credit for working with the program, which teaches them how to use data on student progress to create personalized instruction in literacy, math and social skills based on Individualized Education Plans.
