Firms try to cope as financial advisers dwindle

Companies are starting to increase recruiting and training in response to a decrease in financial advisers. A Cerulli Associates study found that U.S. advisers decreased by 4,000 between 2010 and 2011. During the next five years, the profession is expected to lose an additional 18,600 people.
