Greek yogurt suppliers sought for new national school food program

A USDA pilot program is looking for Greek yogurt suppliers for its National School Lunch Program. The initial program will affect students in New York, Arizona, Idaho and Tennessee beginning in the 2013-14 school year. "I am proud to see this pilot plan reach this final step, because it's great for New York yogurt and the dairy industry, and it's beneficial for the health of our kids," New York Sen. Charles Schumer said in a statement.
