Dooley: Supreme Court ruling on GHG is significant for manufacturing and economy

The Supreme Court's decision on the Environmental Protection Agency's greenhouse gas rule validated arguments the American Chemistry Council put forward five years ago during the original rulemaking process, writes ACC President and CEO Cal Dooley. The EPA's rule would have required thousands of businesses and facilities to get permits based solely on greenhouse gas emissions. This proposed permitting program "would have put our nation's manufacturing renaissance, driven by U.S. chemical producers, in jeopardy," Dooley writes.
