Unilever exec: Dove strives to be a brand with a purpose

Dove's women-empowerment campaigns are about making "work that is iconic and tackles a difficult issue in a compelling way," said Rob Candelino, vice president of marketing for Unilever's skin care brands. Dove's "Real Beauty" campaign, which is in its 10th year, drives both sales and brand loyalty. "Our first and foremost goal ... is that [Dove] is a brand with purpose," Candelino said.
