Scientists criticize Calif. stem cell institute's rule against paying for eggs

California's stem cell research review board has adopted a few ethics rules so far, but already one is being criticized by scientists around the country. The rule would prevent the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine from paying women for donating the eggs needed for embryonic stem cell research. One scientist predicts the institute will come to regret making that rule.
