Businesses make offices greener to grow investment

Businesses are increasingly making their offices more eco-friendly, not just to save on their immediate costs, but to build on their investment. Experts say that driving down the operating cost of a building by $1 raises the building's market value by $10. Commercial real estate services firm CB Richard Ellis Group is getting in on the act by helping clients with energy efficient programs, and the company plans to go carbon-neutral itself by 2010.
