Bloomberg plan strives to reduce NYC's carbon footprint

A plan from New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg has launched a plan to reduce the city's carbon footprint by improving energy efficiency at buildings and capturing energy potential at wastewater plants, among other means. The plan calls for the city's municipal buildings and operations to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 30% by 2017.
