Spirit of Glacier Bay runs aground in southeast Alaska

The 207-foot Spirit of Glacier Bay cruise ship ran aground Monday in southeast Alaska near Glacier Bay National Park. The ship was carrying 24 passengers and 27 crew members; no injuries were reported. The Coast Guard is assessing the situation to determine whether the ship is seaworthy and how it grounded.
