Brown to urge G-8 leaders to bolster global economy:

The administration of U.K. Prime Minister Gordon Brown is pressuring rescued banks to add £70 billion in loans to spur the economy and is urging leaders from the other Group of Eight industrialized nations to make similar moves, sources said. Brown has voiced concerns that a return to economic growth is not a sure bet.
