Study provides clue to cancer-caffeine link

Caffeine intake might be linked to certain cancers because it affects levels of estrogen and other sex hormones in women. Researchers found that levels of estradiol, a form of estrogen, dropped with increased consumption of coffee and caffeine by premenopausal women during the second half of their menstrual cycles.
