Texas to receive $160M in stimulus funds for water projects

The Texas Water Development Board will receive $160 million in stimulus funds for water infrastructure projects. The Environmental Protection Agency disbursed the funds to a low-interest loan program for drinking water projects. "These funds will not only help our economic recovery, but they will help provide safe, clean drinking water for communities throughout Texas," said Lawrence Starfield, EPA acting regional administrator.
