Travel Promotion Act stalls in Senate

Supporters of the Travel Promotion Act are rejecting a claim by Roll Call that the legislation has "died." The U.S. Travel Association is optimistic that the measure will be revived after stalling in the Senate as a result of what appears to be partisan politics. "It is not unusual for legislation to temporarily stall in the U.S. Senate due to procedural hurdles as members seek compromises," said Roger Dow, president of USTA.
