Garage wines rev up again

So-called garage wines, which were popular in the 1990s and early 2000s, were known for being fruity, high in alcohol and ready for consumption shortly after bottling. Jonathan Malthus, a founder of the Vins de Garage movement, now says the wines lacked terroir, and is introducing new versions to correct that.
