Indian airport uses propane to beat birds

Officials at India's Jaipur airport are using a battery of propane cannons to scare off flocks of birds that have been attacking taxiing planes. The cannons are safer and more reliable than the officials' former strategies, which involved aiming fireworks at the birds or hiring "bird chasers" to drive in front of incoming airplanes in a Jeep, waving and yelling in a bid to scare off the birds.
