TGIF? Summer Fridays live on despite the recession

Despite the economic downturn, many small businesses are retaining the perk of letting employees leave early on Fridays in the summer in an effort to keep morale up. Some firms have changed policies on Summer Fridays in part to respond to requests for more flexibility, but many business owners say that the practice helps keep workers motivated and that ending it wouldn't do much to help business anyway.
