Training focuses on incorporating STEM concepts into lessons

About 50 Arizona educators recently learned hands-on ways to include science, technology, engineering and math concepts in their lessons through a two-week training program at Biosphere 2 in Oracle, Ariz. The training, which provided educators with a laptop and other technology, was for teachers in kindergarten through third grade. "If you can catch them in these early years and make them excited [about science, engineering and math], you've got them," one teacher said.
