Ag insurer to compensate Andalusian berry growers for lost crops

Spanish strawberry growers in Andalusia's Huelva province will receive $23.1 million from agricultural insurer Agroseguro in compensation for crops lost to cold weather and heavy rains. The season's intemperate weather brought a 10% drop in in the crop compared to last year, according to 30-year-old berry producers’ association Freshuelva.
