Brazilian traders brace for rate hike by central bank

Fixed-income traders are betting that the monetary-policy committee of Brazil's central bank will raise the benchmark Selic overnight interest rate by 50 basis points to bring inflation under control. However, some contracts suggest they expect an increase of 75 basis points. Brazil's 12-month inflation rate is 6.7%.
