Canadian tech firm specializes in making education more accessible

Canadian education startup Desire2Learn has found a niche in testing technology products for accessibility to individuals with disabilities, in particular those who are blind or deaf. The company has hired individuals with disabilities to test its products before they are available to the public to address issues with accessibility. "We're breaking down barriers in education," said Desire2Learn founder and chief executive John Baker.
