Canadian women experience work force gains in last 30 years

Young Canadian women experienced progress in the work force between 1981 and 2012, according to Statistics Canada. Women who are between 25 and 34 years old now make more money, are more likely to work full time and face lower unemployment rates. It's been a different story for men in the same age group, many of whom now face higher unemployment and lower wages.
