Farm-to-table trend a boon for 32-year-old Farmer Boys

Farmer Boys has focused on local sourcing since opening its first eatery in Riverside, Calif., in 1981, and the chain has grown to 72 units in California and Nevada that boast the "Farm-to-Table Burger." Now, as fast-casual and local sourcing continue to heat up, the chain has updated its image and mapped a more aggressive growth plan, said COO Ken Clark.
