FDA lifts import alert on Daniella mangoes from Mexico

Mexican supplier Agricola Daniella can once again ship its Daniella brand mangoes to the U.S., a year after the fruit was linked to 127 cases of salmonella, according to the Food and Drug Administration. The company successfully completed food-safety programs and audits, releasing it from the FDA import alert that effectively banned the company from shipping fruit to the U.S.
