FEMA works to revise flood maps for Ind. city

Officials and homeowners in Jeffersonville, Ind., are waiting for the Federal Emergency Management Agency's updates to the city's floodplain maps. The city has pushed for changes in the maps to remove more than 400 homeowners from flood zones. People with homes in a floodplain can pay up to $2,400 annually for flood insurance, said insurance agent Brian Wright.
