Fliers should ditch bags when evacuating from a crash

Fliers who evacuated from the recent Asiana Airlines crash were seen toting luggage, something that shouldn't have happened according to some industry groups. Bringing luggage can slow down the evacuation and limit a passenger's ability to quickly get on his or her feet when they speed down the slide.
