Ill. to use statewide survey results for school improvement efforts

Illinois has conducted a statewide education survey for the first time, and officials say the goal is for the responses -- from 1.1 million students, teachers and parents -- to help drive school improvement efforts. The results of the survey, which solicited anonymous feedback, are expected to be released online in the fall.
