R/GA focuses on local promos for MLS' New York Red Bulls

R/GA has developed a local-focused campaign to increase attendance at matches of the New York Red Bulls, the Major League Soccer team. The campaign targets parents through Red Bulls' children's camps, area Brazilians through promotions with Brazilian star Juninho, and other fans with outdoor ads near bars and neighborhood soccer fields. "Soccer is a local game. Geography is very important in who we target and where we invest our money," said Rory O'Flaherty, R/GA's group media director.
