Solar Impulse completes trans-American flight with damage

Solar Impulse became the first solar-powered airplane to fly across the U.S. when it landed at New York's JFK airport this weekend. The aircraft completed the trans-American flight that it began on May 3 at Moffett Field near San Francisco, landing with a tear in the fabric on the underside of its left wing.
