Tools aim to address conceptual design needs of AEC industry

Two applications designed to address the conceptual design needs of architecture, engineering and construction professionals have been launched by Autodesk. Formit, a conceptual tool for the iPad, "allows designers to create basic conceptual forms and upload them to Autodesk’s building information modeling [BIM] platform," while Dynamo, which is a plugin for Revit and Vasari, "allows designers to script operations, using a graphical interface."
