Blended-learning approach is credited with school transformation

Revere High School in Massachusetts used blended learning to transform from a low-performing school to an award-winning institution, write principal Lourenco Garcia and Nicholas Donahue, president and CEO of the Nellie Mae Education Foundation. Flipped-learning classrooms and a one-to-one iPad program introduced learners to student-centered instruction, while the school's Learning Commons -- formerly the library -- became a flexible space for students, teachers and parents to meet, collaborate and learn, they write in this blog post.
