Canada reserves block for small carriers in auction

Canada will set aside 30 MHz of advanced wireless services spectrum as part of its long-running attempt to create a fourth national wireless carrier, the government disclosed Monday. Authorities also said they will put "strict" limits on the amount of spectrum that license holders can transfer to larger carriers in the aftermath of a scheduled April 2015 auction.
