Macaroni Grill founder serves up new spud concept

Restaurant veteran Phil Romano has launched his Dallas-based concept Potato Flats, a new fast-casual restaurant that serves flattened potatoes topped with meat, veggies and other toppings. Customers can pick and choose from a long list of toppings or opt for a suggested combo such as turkey, gravy, veggies and cranberry sauce, which is dubbed "Thanksgiving Day All Day."
