Study: How The Internet Affects Teachers' Practices

Teachers often use the Internet in classrooms simply because of pressure from administrators, according to a study by Drs. Douglas Green and Thomas O'Brien of Binghamton University. Schools must ensure that professional development activities promote constructive use of the Internet in classrooms, the study says. THE Journal (June 2002)
