Dooley to replace Gerard as head of ACC

Former U.S. Rep. Cal Dooley, D-Calif., has been recruited to replace Jack Gerard as the head of the American Chemistry Council. Dooley has led the Grocery Manufacturers Association since retiring from Congress in 2005 after seven terms. "We are very excited about Cal coming to ACC, as he brings a breadth of experience and leadership skills that are critical to the challenges and opportunities we face in the business of chemistry," said Bob Wood, chairman of ACC's board of directors.
