Optimism returns to European leveraged-loan market

The secondary market for European leveraged loans rallied in the second quarter after three months of forced selling earlier in the year. Although some of the debt has been sold at significant discounts, the market's recovery has allowed many financial institutions to make long-awaited sales of loans for deals signed before the credit crisis began last summer.
