Study evaluates weight-loss interventions for Type 2 diabetes

A new study of the effectiveness of various weight-loss strategies among Type 2 diabetics found regular self-weighing and eating less fast-food meals and more breakfast meals each week was associated with a lower BMI. The researchers said such strategies may be easier to implement, monitor and adhere to for some patients than strategies that encourage reduced calorie consumption.
