YouTube proves a tough sell for Google

While YouTube is wildly popular with users, it appears that big-ticket advertisers are chary about spending to advertise on the video-sharing Web site. Advertisers face a number of hurdles with YouTube, including operational inefficiencies, a looming copyright infringement case, lack of desirable inventory and format issues. Google's head of advertising and commerce in North America, Tim Armstrong, is leading a push to make YouTube more desirable to advertisers.
