Battle brews in Tenn. regarding proposed GA airport

Lawmakers in Bradley County, Tenn., have barred the county planner from adopting the zoning regulations needed for a proposed general aviation airport. Instead, the Cleveland Airport Authority will seek permission from the city and the state to implement zoning requirements in keeping with FAA standards. Property owners near the proposed airport site said they plan to oppose the airport authority in court.
