Clinton: Better construction will reduce future storm damage in Haiti

Former U.S. President Bill Clinton urged the government of Haiti to improve building standards. He noted that 80% of the damage caused by hurricanes and tropical storms that hit the country a year ago was caused by water and 20% by wind. Improved construction practices will minimize damage from future storms, said Clinton, who is the new United Nations special envoy to Haiti.
