Florida board delays consideration of controversial no-zero policy

A Florida district has put off a vote on a proposed policy that would ban teachers from assigning students a grade of "zero." The board is considering a change that would make 40 the lowest grade for students who do not complete an assignment or test and 49 the lowest grade for students who do complete the work but perform poorly.
