M&S shareholders vent frustration over succession plan

More than 40% of Marks & Spencer shareholders backed a resolution that urged the retailer to appoint a new chairman to replace Sir Stuart Rose within a little more than a year's time. Although shareholders defeated the resolution, the rebellion is one of the most significant in the company's 125-year history.
