Piper's new PiperJet to make first appearance at AirVenture

Piper Aircraft, acquired two months ago by investment group Imprimis, is set to bring its first jet, the PiperJet, to Wisconsin in late July for its first appearance at the EAA's annual AirVenture event. The jet, powered by a single Williams FJ44-3AP turbofan derated to 2,400-pound thrust, features a digital flight deck and seats six, and the aircraft has completed 120 flights totaling 181 hours.
