Rice is nice, but is it art?

Midwestern crop circles have nothing on the rice paddies of Inakadate, Japan. There, workers plant rice in patterns so they become mosaic images once the plants sprout. Traditional Japanese images like samurai grow alongside iconic Western figures like Napoleon in this gallery.
