Bloomberg opposes hedge fund tax proposal

New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg is asking state officials to reconsider a plan to tax the earnings of hedge fund managers who work in New York but live in another state as ordinary income. "I think it's the best thing that ever happened to Connecticut. I can't imagine why every hedge fund won't pick up tomorrow and leave," Bloomberg said.
