Electronics retailers are ripe for re-commerce

Recycling firm Gazelle is working to help major consumer electronics retailers develop programs for recycling used devices, STORES magazine reports. Under Gazelle's programs, shoppers trade in used smartphones, computers and other devices in exchange for store gift cards -- the programs spur sales and can help build a retailer's eco-friendly reputation, the company says.
